Initial Meeting and Evaluation - The first meeting can be informal (with no paperwork) OR more formal with first completing a written evaluation packet. Additional assessment sessions may be held before deciding the best course of further care.
Ongoing Private Sessions - Meetings from 30-90 minutes in length can be arranged once per week, once per day, once per month or however often seems needed. Clients can attend by themselves or bring members of their families if they wish. Families can meet in private or can bring 'the patient' with as they wish.
Group Opportunties - Group meetings are available. A group focused on the basics of chemical health meets every Wednesday at 6PM. More advanced clients meet on Thursday evenings. All groups cover materials from SMART Recovery, Rational Recovery, Women/Men For Sobriety and the work of Stanton Peele, Albert Ellis, Anne Fletcher, James Prochaska and others.
Phone/E-Mail Sessions - Traditional 'in-person meetings' can often be replaced with telephone or e-mail counseling/advising.
Other Methods- Educational sessions can be done at the Clinic or at home using workbooks, readings and audio-visual materials.
